Corbin’s method of childbirth is one of the most amazing facts about her. Dr. Lewis Whaley discovered that Coby also had two internal female reproductive systems duplicated. Corbin was thus pregnant with her first child in her left uterus. She gave birth to three of her children from one part of her body and two more from the other. Despite this, Corbin’s extra legs were weak, and she couldn’t use them like normal ones.

Corbin died on May 6, 1928, in Cleburne, Texas, at the age of 59. Several medical personnel planned to purchase her body for examinations. Her family, however, turned down the offers and laid Corbin to rest at Cleburne Memorial Park Cemetery. Her grave was also guarded for some time after her death to prevent corpse theft.
