The Alaskan Bush People’s family has grown. Billy and Ami Brown’s youngest son recently welcomed their first grandchild. Noah, their youngest son, and his wife Rhain Alisha welcomed a baby boy named Elijah Connor Brown on January 26. Elijah weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long when he was born.

“Rhain and I are overjoyed to welcome our son Elijah Connor Brown into the world.” Mom and son are both in good health, and he’s already practicing his howl! Rhain is already a wonderful mother; I am in awe of her, and we are both grateful and excited to welcome him into our family,” Noah told PEOPLE. “He’s happy, healthy, and just perfect,” Rhain added.

Noah’s birthday couldn’t have come at a better time. “Spring is when the birds have their babies, and the deer have their babies, and the bears and cougars have their babies,” he explained. “We just blended in with the animals.”

The Browns were overjoyed to have a new addition to their family. Billy Brown also expressed their joy at the birth of their first grandchild.

“The big day has arrived: we’re grandparents!” Billy stated. “Ami is overjoyed, and we are all overjoyed.” We can’t wait to meet the handsome young man and see everyone again on the mountain.”

Noah and his wife Rhain will be able to spend time getting to know the new addition because they live near the Brown family’s new homestead in rural Washington state.

Noah stated that his mother, Ami, cried when they informed her that she would become a grandmother for the first time. Ami, who was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer in 2017 and underwent multiple rounds of treatment before being declared cancer-free in late 2018, was overjoyed by the news.

So, who exactly is Rhain Alisha? What we know about Noah Brown’s wife is as follows.

1. Rhain renamed herself.

Her birth name was Ruth Alisha Merrill, but she legally changed it to Rhain in 2017. Merrill, who appears on the Discovery Channel show as Rhain Alicia, was born Ruth Alisha Merrill in Oregon before adopting a new identity in Alaska.

2. Rhain met Noah during his mother’s cancer treatment.

When Noah Brown’s mother was diagnosed with cancer, the entire Brown family accompanied her to cancer treatment, where Rhain and Noah met. According to various reports, Rhain was disliked by family members, and Noah became estranged from his family as a result. Fans of the show blamed Rhain for Noah abandoning his family due to her negative influence.

3. They got married two years after meeting.

Noah Brown married Rhain Alisha on August 15, two years after they first met. He proposed last April after a romantic sunset hike, and he designed the engagement ring himself.

Even though it was out of their comfort zone, the Brown family dressed up for the couple’s wedding instead of wearing their usual outdoor attire.

“For the first time ever, I tried on a tux,” Gabe remarked. “That was strange.”

“It’s been so hectic and crazy because we needed these fancy clothes that we haven’t had time to think about it today,” Billy explained.

“We are so excited to begin our new life as husband and wife, and we are looking forward to creating new memories as our own family,” Noah and Rhain told PEOPLE.

“May God bless everyone for their love and support.”

4. Not everyone in the Brown family welcomed Rhain.

According to RadarOnline, not everyone in the family welcomed Rhain into their clan. Rhain allegedly clashed with Brown’s younger sisters, Rain and Snowbird.

5. Rhain and Noah requested contributions for their honeymoon.

The couple set up a website where people could donate gifts for their honeymoon. “Help us enjoy our honeymoon in Montana!” they wrote. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
We’ve never needed much, but these few items would go a long way and be greatly appreciated.”

6. At the wedding, Rhain’s parents met Noah’s.

At the wedding, the parents finally got to meet.

“We’re on our way to Oregon to pick up my mother-in-law, then back up to Idaho for the wedding.” It will be beneficial for our parents to finally meet,” Noah wrote on Facebook.

7. Rhain’s pregnancy was welcomed by the family.

“Noah and Rhain were going through a rough patch with his family before the pregnancy news, but the pregnancy has really turned things around for them,” a source said.

Tensions between the couple and the rest of the family began to ease after they announced their pregnancy.

“Billy and Ami are overjoyed about her pregnancy because Ami has always wanted to be a grandmother.” “Her wish has finally come true, and she is overjoyed,” the source added. “The impending birth has given Ami new life and strengthened Noah’s relationship with Billy because he is now seeking fatherhood advice from him.”

Rhain and her pregnancy were also embraced by the brothers.

“Every single one of the brothers has become much more protective. It’s ludicrous. “It’s as if my raging hormones drew out their testosterone-fueled protectiveness,” Rhain explained. “‘Don’t lift anything over your head,’ everyone says. ‘Oh, you’re tired.’ ‘How are your feet doing?’ ‘Do you need to take a seat?’ ‘Please allow me to assist you.’ ‘Come on!’ I say.

8. Rhain and Noah kept the baby’s gender hidden.

“We had talked about names before we were even married,” Noah revealed last year. “It was one of those things where we just clicked: we knew we wanted three kids.” But we didn’t know what we were going to get, so we set out and chose three boy names and three girl names.”

“Just in case we had all three of one or all three of the other,” Rhain added. So, we’re prepared.”

Season nine of The Alaskan Bush People premieres on Discovery on March 3 at 10 p.m. ET.
